Product description
A kickboard should be a basic piece of equipment for every swimmer. Beginners can use it to learn kick techniques or to train their body position. The more advanced ones can, for example, tire their legs nicely when using the fins.
The kickboard has two upper hand grips, is pleasantly light and flexible and last but not least it has a blue colour every swimmer loves 🙂 Its dimensions are 41x29cm.
As a competitive swimmer and coach, I was quite sceptical about the kickboard at the beginning. In the time I have been swimming I have tried quite a few of them, so I am a more demanding customer after all. I know what I expect from it, and the Swimaholic kickboard surprisingly met all my requirements.
The material of the kickboard is pleasantly stiff, it floats well, and it’s comfortable to lean on while swimming. With cheaper and softer kickboards, it often happens that after a while they start to crumble, get mouldy and make swimming with them uncomfortable but this is not the case.
You can swim crawl, butterfly, breaststroke and backstroke legs with the kickboard. It makes training more enjoyable and you can focus on the lower half of the body. You can also use it for various technical exercises.
Its top grip is great for practising kick technique, warming up your legs before training or for technical arm exercises. And because it has room for your hands at the top, it’s great to hold.
Another grip option is on the sides at any height, so you can train your body and head position while getting a good workout.
If you want to practice your arm stroke, simply grab the kickboard with one hand and you can work on techniques of your second arm. Or you can put the kickboard between your legs, your body will get a different position on the water and you will work on getting the right stroke.
Why choose Swimaholic Kickboard?
- Gives you support when training your legs
- It will straighten your body position and improve your breathing
- Help you with your kick technique
- And if you forget to take a pull buoy, you can use it instead
Final tip: With a co-swimmer, don’t lay the board in front of you flat, but perpendicular to the water for more resistance (swim against the wall). Who will be faster at the other end of the pool? 🙂
EVA material (ethylene vinyl acetate) – This foam material is flexible, elastic and light. It is very durable, waterproof and is also resistant to UV radiation.
