BornToSwim Swimmer’s Tow Buoy

When heading out into the open water, it’s important to think about your own safety. That’s why I always take a swim buoy with me. That way I can be sure I’ll be visible to my surroundings, and I know I can lean on it when I get tired.

When I headed to the water with a BornToSwim swim buoy, I was full of anticipation. It pleasantly surprised me with its lightness in the water, where I could hardly feel it while swimming. At the same time, it was easy to inflate, the belt was just long enough and it was easily adjustable with a simple snap around the waist. Another positive for me was definitely the greater variety of colours that most brands offer. So you can choose from three colours namely pink, orange and yellow. The only thing I found lacking in the buoy is the storage space. The buoy doesn’t have a pocket for small items, so it’s mostly suitable for swimmers who don’t need storage space. So I would choose it as a buoy for a vacation where I can leave my stuff on the shore, or for training where I don’t have anything with me. However, I was still more than happy with the buoy.
